My Story

Hello, I am so glad you are here! My name is Tammy Lautner, founder and owner of Peace of Mind Concierge. These are pictures of the most important people in my life. I cherish the picture of me with my dad. I am so grateful that both of my parents, in their 90's, are doing well and still live in my childhood home.

A great deal of trust is given when someone allows you into their home and shares personal details of their life. I thought it was important for you to know a little bit about me before you make the decision to contact me.

This business is an extension of me and my values. I take great pride in my work and will always provide you with the best possible customer service. I believe that a person's word is extremely important. It seems as though people don't live by their word as much as they used to, but I can guarantee you that I always will. I value relationships and see our time together as just that. I hope to get to know you on a personal level so that you can feel comfortable and confident to trust me with your needs.

I am a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years experience working with seniors and their families. I have a passion for helping seniors and support family caregivers throughout the marathon of caring for a loved one. I want you to be the best version of yourself while being dedicated to your loved one. My years as an experienced social worker goes beyond my professional expertise. I am deeply committed to fostering meaningful connections with seniors and their family caregivers, building trust and providing a supportive presence throughout their journey, while consistently striving to enhance their overall well-being.

I have worked in different types of seniors residences, and have extensive community development experience creating community programs and services to support seniors and their families. I have also worked with all levels of government advocating for seniors' needs.

I believe it's important to stay current on the issues that impact seniors and their families and to remain competent in my profession. That's why I have joined various organizations in the Edmonton area,

I am a member of the Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council/Age Friendly Edmonton committee on ageism, a co-design team member of the Caregiver Centred Care education program with the University of Alberta, board member for the AB Association on Gerontology and for the Canadian Association of Health Advocates. I am trained as a Trauma Informed Practitioner with the Imagine Institute for Learning and a member on the disciplinary committee for the AB College of Social Workers.

I was born and raised in Edmonton. I have two grown daughters. I am a grandma to my first grandson (with another on the way!). I live with my partner and best friend with our 3 cats and our dog, Buddy. I have always been a huge Oilers fan (proudly born and raised Edmontonian!) and I love spending time at our lake lot in the summer months.

Please reach out to me with any questions you may have. I look forward to chatting with you soon to hear your story and how I may be of help to you.
